RickT Posted December 7, 2013 #4 Share Posted December 7, 2013 No "The Macallan" on Silhouette this past summer. Nice Highland Park 12 however. I think the price would have just been outside the classic package. Check out what is available and decide once you get on board.
ShadowzBtlr Posted December 7, 2013 #5 Share Posted December 7, 2013 Johnny Walker Black and the McCallum Highland Park brand will require the Premium package -- both are more than $8.00.
missgoatlady Posted December 7, 2013 #6 Share Posted December 7, 2013 Johnny Walker Red Label was offered this summer under the Classic Package. Hope this helps.
Rare ORV Posted December 7, 2013 #7 Share Posted December 7, 2013 If I remember correctly from last Feb. the only single malt you could get on the Classic package was Glenfiddich. Better than nothing, some people even like it. Glenlevit, Highland Park, Laphroaig, Macallan and maybe a couple more are on the Premium. There are some the premium doesn't cover. Can't tell you on the blends.
Lsimon Posted December 8, 2013 #8 Share Posted December 8, 2013 The link below lists only some call brands of blends (Johnny Walker Red, Dewars White Label, J & B and Cutty Sark) and no single malts. If you look at the Celebrity package descriptions on this link: click here You'll see that a word in the first paragraph of each package description is underlined - that is a link that will take you to a representative list of the soft drinks, spirits and beers included in that package. But this menu from Michael's Club the Silhouette from last December (posted by another cruiser and not me) lists a few single malts at $8 so there might be some available. http://beyondships.com/files/Michael_s_Club_Menu.pdf
