garycarla Posted January 4, 2014 #26 Share Posted January 4, 2014 Email me at iimmie@yahoo.com The pricing you are talking about is regular pricing and not CAS pricing. Why could you not just answer the question? I am not about to sign up for a service to scan for the same pricing I can easily find on my own, and to which I do not even need anyways. negn Posted January 7, 2014 #31 Share Posted January 7, 2014 Upgrade usually is difference between what you are comped and what you want. Ex we got a mini midship and asked what it would be for an aft Was quoted $800 which was the difference between the 2.

spidybabe Posted January 7, 2014 #34 Share Posted January 7, 2014 How do you get these offers from CAS? Do they come via mail or phone call? We have gotten postcards, but this time we recieved an email. No code- just said call for Chinese New Year. Because port fee and taxes have to be paid regardless, sometimes if you just call the pricing will be the same as if offered "free" cruise. Never hurts to try Safe sailing
alexgtp Posted January 7, 2014 #35 Share Posted January 7, 2014 I just booked a cruise thru CASfor March on the Epic 7 day western. I paid for taxes and port fees. Pretty much came out to a buy 1 get 1 free price. Not much of a deal as I was expecting alot more. But hey 1/2 price for the Epic count me in. I spoke to CAS 2 times and quickly had my phone call taken. I don;t think I waited longer than 5 minutes. They even honored an expired promo code. Does anyone know how it works with drinks in the Casino? Am i the only one who can get drinks free of charge or can my wife also get free drinks at the casino while we both gamble? We booked through CAS and our cards (both players and drink) were waiting in the cabin for us. The drink cards were for the first 2 guests in the cabin so if you booked it under your name and you wife is the 2nd she will receive a drink card as well. Hope this helps :)

No charge to look at the referenced web site. I understand they could not post the website here. But, the question was asked twice "Are these regular rates, or CAS rates". They were regular rates. Not sure why the poster ignored the question. Some big secret? (by the way, the link they sent me want a $.99 per month fee- no big deal, but still ....." Nightengale212 Posted January 8, 2014 #38 Share Posted January 8, 2014 How do you get these offers from CAS? Do they come via mail or phone call? The Chinese New Year offer came via a mailing. Following my Bermuda Breakaway cruise I called CAS regarding the 1/19-1/31 Breakaway cruise and they comped me an aft balcony. I have also gotten e-mails with offers from CAS. If you are interested in a particular cruise give CAS a call and ask if you are eligible for a discount or comp on that cruise.

I am sure I will spend a fair amount in the casino on an 11 day cruise so I will probably be offered something. Another question......... If I booked a cruise (my oct 2014 one) with an outside travel agency and spend alot of $$$ in casino on the March one nighter that I was comped with CAS, do you think if I call CAS and ask if I qualify for drink card to be applied to oct cruise? Or am I really pushing it? LOL

It is my understanding regardless of who you are booked with you can't carry over points from one cruise to the next to apply towards a drink card. If another CASer has more accurate info please chime in.

THEN you would automatically get the drink card-or earn 1500 points (unless they changed the amount) ON the Oct cruise and then you are eligible. vp1 Posted January 9, 2014 #42 Share Posted January 9, 2014 My experience (~15 cruises booked through CAS) is that the drink card only came with a room booked through CAS. At some point in the past I had a credit card that accrued cruise rewards points. When I wanted to use those points to book a cruise i was told by CAS that I would not be getting my CAS amenities unless the room was booked through them. I will note that I am not a very big better, my CAS cabins are typically either 20% off or (more recently) comped inside cabins, and your level of play may make the difference - particularly with the new card system, but this has been my experience. ~Bob
Sheils65 Posted January 11, 2014 #43 Share Posted January 11, 2014 Ok thanks for the responses. I guess I may have been trying to get the best of both worlds...awesome cruise price and have a drink card added at beginning of cruise rather than after 1500 pts...
