Cornell Ornithology Lab Binocular Ratings

Cornell Ornithology Labs has just released their latest binocular rating issue. The rate binoculars ranging in price from under $200 to $2000 and also rate the best in each price class.

Please note that the ZenRays that everyone on CC seems to gush over are not on the top picks list although there are others in the same price range as the ZenRays. Also note that the ZenRays 8x42 binoculars which are full list are not rated too highly.

 

Anyone who is buying binoculars should read this before they go out and buy anything. If you wear eyeglasses, you definitely need to check as to whether the binoculars you are thinking of are eyeglass friendly as this can be a real issue.
