I am not sure how room service works? I mean whats free and whats extra and tipping for room service. I am talking about meals?

Room service is included in the cruise fare. Except for sodas, snacks, alcoholic drinks. Generally we tip $1-2 dollars if we order just a couple of things, up to $5 for full meals.

That's right! Only alcohol and sodas might cost extra. A cash tip is sort of expected....tip is based on how much they need to carry to you.

 

Food is included in your fare.

I too would give a tip as you would in a hotel to the person who brought the food up to the room.
