I think port fees are set by the amount of time in port. I would not expect too much extra time at the dock.

Unlike planes which may arrive early because of tail winds, ships typically adjust speed for an on time arrival. They will slow down to a crawl if necessary.

Did EOS twice, and every port she docked right on time, and left right on time.
