Single Supplement Confusion

I want to do the March 27th Quest Sailing. On the webiste it says Selected voyages have a 125% single supplement, it then lists voyages underneath that includes the Miami to Nice voyage.

When I try to bookthis voyage the website shows the fare at 200%. I have tried to get a reply from azamara to no avail.

My TA says they are going to address this 'soon'.

I want to be on this cruise as a single or solo traveller.

Hi Keefy,

It could be that at one point, Azamara offered the Single promo on this sailing, and possibly, Azamara failed to remove this date from the website. That's no excuse, as the website should be updated, but we all know the website is is one big headache. Always keep in mind, that virtually all promotions are capacity controlled and subject to change.

In your post you mentioned "they are going to address this soon" What does that mean ? Is your TA unable to get a direct answer from Azamara ?

I hope things work out for you. Please keep us posted, and Happy New Year !

Andy, just to clarify, there are a number of the 125% deals available, but the pricing for them on the website just doubles them. I don't think it's anything to do with particular cruises coming off the list because of reaching capacity. I've checked with my Personal Cruise Specialist in the UK who is able to quote me the correct 125% price. This is fine, but of no use if one is surfing for cruises using the Azamara site. I've now found another travel agent website in the UK which seems to quote correctly.

That's good to know Phil. Probably another website glitch.

  • 3 weeks later...

I have cancelled my reservations on Azamara, despite over 12 voyages under my belt.

I am going, instead, for the first time, on Crystal Symphony.

The pumped up prices, the pumped down standards, the unazamazing evenings have made it that they have, very sadly, priced themselves out of their price niche.

I will miss you so much but money talks and your shoreside couldnt organise a Sunday School picnic!!

Very sorry to hear this. We still have not had a bad experience on Azamara and have three cruises planned for this year, the first in February. We hope we still have as great experience as we have in the past. Will post after the cruise.

Precisely what they did with the ChoiceAir Credit promotion for Journey's June 3 and June 14 cruises.
