If you are referring to Denis Prguda-Hotel Director from Croatia, he was promoted to Regional Vice President of Fleet Hotel Operations and is in charge of the ships that sail in Europe plus The Breakaway.

Denis Prguda is Regional VP Fleet hotel operations splitting the fleet with Klaus Lugmaier the other regional VP so is not assigned to a ship as he travels throughout fleet making sure all is up to par.

I'm guessing whomever you 'get' for your dreamy Owner's Cabin 10004 will be wonderful...think how cush to get this post right before 2 weeks-and most of it could be vacation-in San Francisco! :p

 

I was informed from our pre concierge that Monica will be our concierge on our May 24th cruise to Alaska on the Jewel. Any recent experience with her? I read some not so shining reviews from 2011 and very positive reviews from last year. I do not foresee using her too much but a good concierge can sure make a difference. We have had a couple. One was absolutely amazing!! The other was not awful but just couldn't compare to Karan.

I do not. The only person I was told about was the concierge and that sounds like it is a definite maybe. I see you are also locals taking advantage of the close proximity to the pier. It is so convenient not to have to deal with the hassle of a flight before and after a relaxing vacation. :D

Oh, yes, we live about an hour's drive from Pier 66, so it's very convenient. And since we are now spoiled by the "suite" life, it makes our cruises even more special. :)

 

This will be our first cruise on the Jewel but our 4th stay in the Haven. We just love the peace and quiet on that 14th deck.

 

I'm trying to convince my husband to book the May 7, 2015 9-day cruise on the Jewel. I love those port times but it's a little earlier in the season than we like to go.

Hello all!

 

Can anyone give a current update for the Star? Doing the Panama Canal on April 20.

The last time I cruised on the Star (Oct 2012 Repo from NYC to NOLA), she had the BEST ever crew and staff on NCL!

 

Hi how are you? I believe that Hugo is now the hotel director on the Star. we will be doing the Breakaway for the 3rd time on July 20 to Bermuda.
