Coffee card

I have looked for this topic but can't find a direct answer to this question. Does Carnival have a card program for coffee drinks such as lattes, espresso, etc.?

 

We had this on Princess and it was nice to have a latte each morning and not have any surprises on the bill at the end.

I'm pretty sure the answer is no... Unless I've missed something big. We usually get at least two lattes each day (1 for each of us) and have not seen anything or been offered anything that allows for unlimited refills. (Could be a dangerous offering for me...)

The only thing I saw on the Sunshine was a punch card so that you could get a free coffee after so many punches. I believe the 8th was free but not sure.

If you buy the cup, I don't remember how mush it was and keep using it. I think you save $2 on your drinks.

I have purchased two coffe mugs at the coffe shop, it comes with an espresso based drink, but I have never been offered any deals on refills.

Just did Fascination last month and sadly no coffee card like on Princess:(...that was the first thing I inquired about when I got on board.

I collect all manner of ship-cards

so I pursue them diligently while on board any cruise ships!

 

 

A kind friend donated this Royal Caribbean card...

and so, the next time I was on board (Carnival Valor and then Glory)

I asked at the coffee station on Promenade Deck 5

about any possible Carnival coffee cards that may have been issued past, present or future.

 

The answer was a no, unfortunately for my collection..

Don't think so, at least not on our December 2013 cruise on the Breeze.

 

But they should seriously think about having one.

Carnival discontinued their coffee card about 4 or 5 years ago. I, too, wish they still had it. My DW loves her lattes, and I'd bet our S&S bill would be a LOT less if she could get a coffee card.:rolleyes:

Using the punch card helps a bit until something else is available.

Sorry, I don't have the card, but just wanted to point out (in case you weren't aware) that Carnival also used to have a DOD punch card. You would prepay for the card--I think it was for 5 DOD's at a discounted price--and then just use it when you wanted your drinks throughout the cruise.
