Shore excursion refund if your ship doesn't make its port?

Hi all, quick question...we are looking at shore excursions for our cruise, and were wondering what happens if for some reason your ship doesn't make the port (due to weather, or whatever) Does RCI refund your pre-paid shore excursions?

They will refund ship sponsored excursions, but not independent excursions.

If you booked the excursion with Royal they will refund your money if they miss the port.

thankyou, that is what I thought, but wanted to clarify. We are booking through the ship. Thanks again Clarea for answering another one of my questions! Thanks also Oneputt18

In my experience some independent vendors will refund deposits if the ship misses port/can not tender. You must check each independent's policy
