Anyone received an approval for Excursion Guarantee?

Just wondering what the response has been regarding the excursion guarantee?

Has anyone received approval? How quickly?

Did you receive any automatic emails after submission?

Has anyone been denied? Reason?

 

Thanks, I have been waiting on mine which seems pretty staight forward but haven't seen on heard anything.

Just worked for me last Thursday. Saved approx. $140 on 2 excursions (2 adults and 1 child) Chacchoben ruins in Costa Maya and Altun Ha in Belize (Dream in Feb). Found out about the Altun Ha one on our CC rollcall. Found the Chacchoben one on Google, literally in a 2 min search. Search on Carnival "Excursion Guarantee" for the online form, filled in and submitted around noon, rec'd email confirmation and verified that prices had been reduced on online booking that evening. Parameters must match (excursion time--4 hrs tour, 6 hr tour, etc, lunch/no lunch, transpo/no transpo, etc,, everything must be the same. Can't say it will be so lucky on every excursion, but can't hurt to try!

I'm curious as to how this works.. Can someone explain what this is?

 

Once you have booked your excursion with Carnival you need to find an excursion that is the same through a private company. I found one thru a post by someone on CC on our rollcall (posted link above), the other I found with a simple google search. Excursions must match as to duration and other particulars. For example, is lunch provided?, etc. Then search on Carnival website....."Excursion Guarantee" That will bring up the form you will need to fill out to claim the credit. The form is simple and is included in the copy of the email in my post above. I sent in both forms at approx. noon last Thurs and rec'd acceptances with credits around 6-7 pm that evening. I don't know if I just got lucky this time or what, but I will take the OBC without complaint!

Does anyone know if you need to fill out a claim form for each person doing the excursion?

 

I submitted one form for each excursion and they credited us for all three ppl scheduled on each excursion. I assume they pick the total ppl scheduled up from the booking number.

I submitted one on Thursday and haven't heard back. Starting to wonder if they ever received it :/ There is someone else on the boards who got credit for the exact same excursion/alternate that I submitted but me? Nothing yet.

 

I submitted one about 72 hours ago and still haven't heard back either.

I'm in the same boat, submitted the form and have heard nothing. I was especially troubled when I hit submit and then the form just reappeared blank....no "thank you for submitting" or anything like that, so there is no way of knowing if the form even went through. I'm going to assume that they are receiving a bunch of these since it is new and will take some time to process them. Also noticed that the form has already changed, I opened it the first day and there was a box at the bottom to mark yes or no if the private excursion company had insurance...that box is now gone.

I submitted mine the day it came out and then resubmitted three days ago...still haven't heard anything.

Wish they would at least send an email confirming receipt.
