Valley Church Beach is a lovely beach - very quiet, turquoise sea - and very easy to get to on the local bus for a couple of $ - takes about 15-20 mins - you get dropped on the road and it is a very short walk to the beach - bit longer to the restaurant on there which has sunbeds etc. Don't know anything about the beach club.

Hi fellow cruisers,

Last week on the Eclipse we went to Coconut Beach Club - don't bother!! I had made reservations weeks in advance to be sure of availability, not crowded at all. The admission was $50 per person as advertised, the beach was very nice, but; the loungers were far from clean and shade is limited. Pool looked nice, no one used it while we were there(cold).

No bar person on the beach so we had to treck back to the patio for drinks in plastic cups.

Lunch was served at 12:30 and was very limited, some salads, soup, vegetables, meatballs and some type of grilled fish and a dessert.

Last year we did go to Valley Church Beach and had a better time at half the cost and with less frustrations. One prior year we even took the public bus for two dollars.

Hal
