CamaCama Posted January 30, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 30, 2014 I know I can't do it online, but if I call (can't right now at work) will they allow me to book an inside promenade view room if it's 2 adults and 1 baby who will be sleeping in a pack n play (won't need a 3rd pullman bed)? Also, does anyone know if any of the inside promenade rooms connect (on either Liberty, Freedom or Indy)?
jelbnl Posted January 30, 2014 #2 Share Posted January 30, 2014 (edited) I'm going to say no. A baby is still counts as a person regardless of whether it's using a bed. It's really for lifeboat occupancy and such, you're probably going to have to choose another room. Sorry. yes, there are connecting promenade rooms, I've had one such set on Liberty. sherezada Posted January 30, 2014 #4 Share Posted January 30, 2014 We went on the Allure a few years back with our 18 month old son, and they alllowed us to book a double occupancy Promenade room with him. You just have to call them.
Mom.to.2 Posted January 30, 2014 #5 Share Posted January 30, 2014 I have heard of this being done. My guess is it depends on the level of occupancy for your specific sailing.
EllaDuChien Posted January 30, 2014 #6 Share Posted January 30, 2014 I am currently booked in a Promenade room with my DS and my DD (who will be in a crib) so the answer is yes, you can. I had to call to get it done, but you can do it. I have also sailed in connecting PR rooms on a previous cruise so yes, they have those too! sherezada Posted January 30, 2014 #7 Share Posted January 30, 2014 BTW, we moved our bed against the window, and our son slept on the window nook. It was the perfect bed for him, and we avoided having a pack and play blocking the way. I don't know how old your baby is, but it might be worth considering. CruisingTeacher19 Posted January 30, 2014 #8 Share Posted January 30, 2014 I was told no for our upcoming cruise on adventure. I called several times. I guess it depends on the ship Sent from my SGH-T999 using Tapatalk

AND it connects to his brother's room as well. Hope this helps. Have a great cruise

woehwdy Posted January 31, 2014 #13 Share Posted January 31, 2014 Yes as long as the sailing is open for triples and quads you would be able to add the baby with a pack and play.
readytolose Posted January 31, 2014 #14 Share Posted January 31, 2014 We had no problems doing so with a two year old.
SandyAtSea Posted January 31, 2014 #15 Share Posted January 31, 2014 We will be on the Oasis in October with our granddaughter who will be 2 1/2 at the time. We were trying to find a room in a certain location on the ship and could only find one for 2 but RCI told us as long as she is in a pack and play, it's no problem. They were the ones who suggested this particular room and I questioned them because it said 2 passengers only. I THINK they said as long as she was in a pack and play AND under 3 y/o as well but I can't remember the age part. I definitely told them she would be 2 1/2 and they said no problem. OP wasn't trying to not PAY for the child. Your info is not correct. We had our 18 month old granddaughter in a double cabin with is in a pack n play. We paid for a third person but did not book a triple cabin. OP will can book cabin online and then call to add baby to booking.
