Stateroom assigment question

Hello,

 

We have booked thru a TA a GTY interior stateroom on the Radiance.

This will be our first cruise with RCCL.

I checked yesterday at the RCCL website and we already (cruise is another 2.5 months out) our room assigment.

 

We got an upgrade and i'm very very happy with what we got assigment to us.

 

My question is:

Does it ever happened that after this upgraded assigment RCCL changes tgeir mind and bump you back to an interior room (what we original booked and would be happy with but would be disappointing after this upgrade).

Does that happen or can that happen or is the room we have now definitly our room???

We got very very lucky and we got D1 obstructed view so that is a huge huge upgrade...

Once your cabin has been assigned you can do a mock booking on RCI's website and see what cabins are available in the exact same category. If there is one that you like better you may switch at no charge provided that you live on North America. Your TA would need to request the cabin change for you.

I have had a GTY once - booked only 3 weeks out though. I got my assignment that evening and it never changed.
