CruisinCadie Posted February 3, 2014 #1 Share Posted February 3, 2014 We will be on a 5-day cruise on the Ruby Princess during Lent. Does anyone know what sort of meat-free options they offer in the MDR on Fridays? (I'm assuming these pretty much stay the same, and they won't add anything different in 5 weeks.) It doesn't matter if it's seafood or meatless pasta, or something of that sort, but it would be nice to know in advance that there are options available. Thanks, Kathy
Rare geoherb Posted February 3, 2014 #2 Share Posted February 3, 2014 There is always a seafood option on the menu. I usually order it. There's also always a vegetarian entree available. And some people enjoy the salmon that's on the "always available" side of the menu.

OCruisers Posted February 4, 2014 #4 Share Posted February 4, 2014 There are always meat free options on Princess ships every day and night. You will not have a problem. :) LuLu ~~~~
CruisinCadie Posted February 4, 2014 Author #5 Share Posted February 4, 2014 Thanks. I'd forgotten about the salmon, although I think we'll pass on the "heart attack on a plate" fetuccini. I know they always have options, I just wondered what they were. Kathy
FritzG Posted February 4, 2014 #6 Share Posted February 4, 2014 Thanks. I'd forgotten about the salmon, although I think we'll pass on the "heart attack on a plate" fetuccini. I know they always have options, I just wondered what they were. Kathy Heart attack aside--I ordered a piece of the grilled salmon with no potato or veggies, and an order of the fettucini. My waiter asked if I planned to put the salmon on the pasta. When I said yes, he said he could bring it out on one plate. It was delicious!
