New To Princess... Have ?????

1.Can you get cash from the casino on your sail and sign card, seapass account , or whatever it is called on Princess.

2. Does the concierge have menus available to preview to help decide which night to reserve specailty restaurant?

3. Anyone stayed in CAT E , emerald deck ,(CB) any opinions? I am wondering what is partiallly obstructing the view. From pics I have seen, it appears to be the lifeboats that are in those white containers, just want to know how much we will be able to see.

4. If I get a softdrink card, may I use my own mug/cup?

5. I assume the dress code ,Formal/Smart Casual, applies to the traditional dining room as well as the anytime dining rooms. The only option for casual dress is the Horizon or Cafe Caribe buffet. Is this correct?

Thanks for any answers.

I can answer your questions 1-4 & 5

1. Yes, but they also charge you a 3% fee for putting casino money on your cruise card. :(

4. Yes, you can use your own cup or ask for an extra large cup from the bar which holds about a quart of soda.

5.Yes, the suggested dress code for the evening is for all dining venues except for the horizon court which is more casual.

Thanks for all of your answers.

We have used the casino on RCCL and Celebrity to get cash for tips, ports, etc, w/o a service fee. That way we do not have to carry a lot of cash with us.

I know we will charge our tips on CB, so we will just have to take the cash with us for extra tipping, taxis, etc. I am glad I found out about their service fee beforehand. THANKS!!!

I think the best way to find out what the menu is for each night is to attempt to find someone just returning from the same itinerary, that way they can give you some hints as to which nites are the best for alternate restaurants. You might check the roll call section on this site and post to a roll call that is still active but that the passengers have just returned. Best of Luck!

Not sure about the Concierge but you can get the menus from the Maitre D' in the dining room. So, check with the Maitre D' or ask your waiter for the Maitre D' and let him know your request.
