Formal Nights on Getaway?

Greetings,

 

I am on the 8 March, 2014 sailing of Norwegian Getaway. I always enjoy dressing up in a tux on formal nights.

 

Given how seemingly casual NCL has become (I've not been on NCL for several years), does Getaway even have formal nights?

 

It would be one less thing to pack so I'm curious ahead of time.

No, but they do have one night usually where you can dress up for pictures if you want, but not necessary!

Freestyle.....do what you want, as long as you are comfortable. Within reason.

Tux or no tux...it's completely up to you.

I have not seen one Tux on any of our NCL cruises - don't pack

 

As above, we will see suits/ties for photos, but rarely

 

Most of us do "clean up" in the evenings , collared shirts, nice shoes and slacks and the last night in the Manhattan Room

There is a "Dress Up or Not Night" with an opportunity to have your picture taken with the Captain. Some people dress, others do not. The will be a notice in Freestyle Daily. I believe that it is usually the evening of the first Sea Day.
