Mandatory Insurance

Hi - has anyone been able to get this waived by showing they have insurance elsewhere? We are both fully covered through work for overseas medical insurance and as it's unlimited it would always be our primary insurance anything we bought elsewhere would never kick in. Anyone been successful in convincing P & O of this or do you just have to bite the bullet and buy it?

you don't have to buy P&O insurance. I never have. I use Insure & go.

We have annual insurance and you just fill the details in where you put your passport details on your cruise personaliser - they just insist you have some sort of insurance not with them

You have to have insurance, you do not have to have P&O insurance.
