Thanks for the great info and photos. We are following your footsteps on March 8!

A question about the balcony furniture - do they have a full height table on the balcony or just the short cocktail table. Love breakfast out there! Staying in an Cat E balcony.

Thanks

We had a cocktail table in our E3 balcony room (7550)

We had the older furniture and short table 2 weeks ago.

We still have the little table on our balcony as well.

We went to one of our favorite shows, Love and Marriage, tonight. I would say only half the theater was full, not a good turnout for all the other times. The crowds have been down for most events on the boat but there is a large group we have seen that are here on a trip from a Casino somewhere so I am guessing they spend a lot of time in the Casino.

Tonight for dinner was the Basil menu in the main dinning room. It had some good selections and it was the first time I ordered something that I really didn't like, which was the crab cakes

Have you noticed whether or not they have been serving escargot? i see it on the menu, but know that sometimes they have not been available

They were pretty much available on demand on the 1/25-2/1 cruise. One of our MDR tablemates ordered them a handful of times throughout the week and had no problems getting them.

Has Chops gone to the new menu? Based on a current thread we will not be eating at Chops if they have. Thanks for your informative review.

Chops still had the old menu when we are there a few nights ago.

What a great day, sorry for not posting any pictures, we spent most of the day out and about. I will get some pictures posted tomorrow morning, we gain an hour so that gives me some time :)

We did the mystery dinner and it was awesome. If you have not done the dinner, I would highly recommend it.

Our streak is also alive with 3 straight cruises of winning the quest, all we had to do was provide a sock, comb, pants, shirt, purse, ladies shoe, and shoe string this time around, won the Gold medal, wahoo!

I've not heard they are changing the Chops menu, do you know what the changes are?

They've changed it only on the Navigator as a trial. From what I've read so far it hasn't been well received at all. The Porterhouse and the Strip are gone from the menu, as are the baked potato and the crab cakes. The cover charge went up to $35, and a few choices on the menu carry an additional charge over and above the cover charge...I think I read a couple dry-aged steaks and lobster.

Based on what I've read, I will probably give Chops a miss on the Navigator in April unless I hear they've tweaked things and are getting more positive feedback..

They also took away the creme brulee, IIRC.

New menus are at http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1984388&page=39.

Oh, they also added caviar to the Caesar Salad to make it a "King Caesar."
