2boyzmom Posted February 19, 2014 #1 Share Posted February 19, 2014 This is our first platinum member cruise and not sure if I can pre-book our LeBistro dinners. Can I book them online then receive a credit?

mpk218 Posted February 19, 2014 #3 Share Posted February 19, 2014 Yes , but I would not. Its not necessary. And Any time you can avoid a "credit" situation on board. Do . ;)
Demonyte Posted February 19, 2014 #4 Share Posted February 19, 2014 I wouldn't either. One can just as well make the reservation onboard without any need for refunds.
Da-Painter Posted February 19, 2014 #5 Share Posted February 19, 2014 You can book Le Bistro anytime on the ship, its never fully booked. ;)
Rare BSR Posted February 20, 2014 #6 Share Posted February 20, 2014 I have always waited until I got on board and never had a problem booking.

prairies Posted February 20, 2014 #9 Share Posted February 20, 2014 I pre booked dinner in LeBistro for our upcoming cruise. Did so because last time it was very very full except for late service. It was also a pain to try to actually get a reservation as the line was busy all the time. Didn't want the hassle or frustration of trying to call, not have a good time slot etc. Up to you, but I like being able to pre book.
Educators2 Posted February 20, 2014 #10 Share Posted February 20, 2014 If you pre-book, your credit card is charged. With platinum, it is free. Book at guest services. It may be tough to reserve the last night but never on port days or early in cruise.
DMH15 Posted February 20, 2014 #11 Share Posted February 20, 2014 Will you be in a suite? If so, I would wait til on board. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Demonyte Posted February 20, 2014 #12 Share Posted February 20, 2014 Will you be in a suite? If so, I would wait til on board. It doesn't matter if one will be in a suite or not, only a fraction (about a third - tops) of tables is available for pre-bookings so there is no way that all prime time slot would be gone if they do the booking on embarkation day. HokiePoq Posted February 20, 2014 #13 Share Posted February 20, 2014 We always book on the ship as I wouldn't want to have the refund issue. No problem. We booked ahead of time on the ship but other platinum friends booked the day they wanted to go after checking the menus at the dining room and for activities they wanted to do. We were on the back to back and on the second cruise (just completed), we adopted their method and it worked just fine. Only time I saw most restaurants completely booked was on Valentine's Day. Teppanyaki is an exception, always fills up, but not Le Bistro and the others. In fact, Ginza was so empty I wondered how they justify its space. Ah, but if in a suite you really don't have to worry about it on embarkation day. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
