DISNEY1975 Posted February 19, 2014 #1 Share Posted February 19, 2014 I was looking at my itinerary. States we'll be in the Bahamas 12pm - 7pm. I then noticed... "Due to security reasons, all guests must be on board 2 hours before sailing. Disembarkation usually begins 2 hours after docking. Itineraries are subject to change at any time without notice." Really? That cuts off 4 hours at each port.

In ports of call disembarkation usual begins within 30 minutes of arrival (once in a while it takes a bit longer) and you have to be back on board at least 30 minutes prior to scheduled departure. (But pay attention to the instructions in the Freestyle Daily and the signs posted at the gangway as there could be an exception in a particular port.) Demonyte Posted February 19, 2014 #3 Share Posted February 19, 2014 No, that applies to embarkation at the start of the cruise and disembarkation at the end of the cruise. Real time in port usually starts around the time in itinerary and passengers need to be back onboard 30mins before departure.
garycarla Posted February 19, 2014 #4 Share Posted February 19, 2014 This confusion has been going on for years. Not sure why they do not make this a bit more clear. As said by the poster above. No problems.
