Late shuttle from FLL to Miami hotel

We are looking for a shuttle for 2 people from Fort Lauderdale airport to a downtown Miami hotel. We normally use JMS ($13 pp) but they won't pickup after 8pm and our flight gets in at 9:20pm. We don't want to rent a car because the hotel charges parking so we are hoping to find someone reasonable for a shuttle. Hope someone can help. Thanks

Go Airport is based inside the FLL airport and will take you to Miami anytime -- check on-line for a price quote. A taxi to a downtown Miami hotel will run about $75-80+

You may want to rethink your plans and stay near FLL and shuttle to POM the next day.

Excuse my butting in - JohninDC, is this the recommended/economical choice for flying into FLL with a next day cruise out of Miami?

Lots choose to fly into FLL and stay nearby -- cheaper flights and comparable hotels are usually less expensive than Miami or Miami Beach (and the Fort Lauderdale area is generally more family and tourist friendly than downtown Miami ;)).

The ride from the FLL area to POM the next morning takes about 45+ minutes, so it is easy to get to the port by (or before noon) and with many more making the trip finding a shuttle for about $15 per person each way is easy.

The OP was arriving at 9:20 which means he is not likely to have bags and be loaded into a cab/shuttle before 10:00, which puts him into Miami close to 11:00 -- why pay extra for the transportation and hotel when you are arriving that late?

Thanks for the help! We almost always fly Southwest and have previously used SAS to get to POM but only on the same day of the cruise. We're going a day early this time. Staying at a FLL airport hotel appeals to me much more than Miami.
