skeeter195 Posted February 21, 2014 #1 Share Posted February 21, 2014 I had the longest role of my life last week on the gem. It lasted 52 minutes. All said and done here are the totals, thanks dicenator for the idea, it is fun to keep stats. I played a pass line with max odds and 2 come bets with max odds increasing the bet each time. -52 minutes -11 points hit -21 come bets hit -9 come out wins(8 11's and 1 7) -5 hard 6's hit -2 hard 8's -I don't the 4 and ten -won $268 for the dealers with various bets -started with $600 and cashed out $6800 -when I sevened out I had $200 on pass 8 with $1000 odds, $150 on come 9 with $600 and a $200 come bet which I won -the next day the pit boss told me that it was the longest role he had seen on the Gem. He watched the tape in fast forward and I rolled 287 times.
Alliezona09 Posted February 21, 2014 #2 Share Posted February 21, 2014 (edited) My DH is just learning craps and his reply when I read him this was ~ Jeeze~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congrats on a fantastic roll~!! Would have loved to see that and DH said he would have loved to have been at your table! :D ETA: Can I ask how you keep track of all the bets so you have a tally at the end of your roll?? I get so confused just watching can't even imagine playing and keeping track of how many times you got a hard 8, how many times you won a come bet...etc.... just curious~ Edited February 21, 2014 by Alliezona09
Dicenator Posted February 23, 2014 #3 Share Posted February 23, 2014 skeeter195, The world's record for number of throws in one hand is 154 by Patricia De Mauro made about 3 years ago at the Borgata Casino in Atlantic City. I think you made a mistake when you listed a total of 287 throws made in 57 minutes. This equated to 5 throws per minute or one every 12 seconds. Congratulations on your money win. Where there other players at the table reaping some benefits from your throwing. I've been on the Gem twice and found the table to be excellent. My personal record of 54 throws in one hand was made on the Gem a few years ago. My second trip was last March and I had 6 hands of 30 or more throws but the table was too crowded most of the time and I didn't get to play nearly as much as I wanted to. For the time that you were at the table you would have had to roll the dice so many times and with the dealers making payouts such an event is not possible. skeeter195 Posted February 24, 2014 Author #5 Share Posted February 24, 2014 I swore that the pit boss said 287, but now that I think about it, your right that is alot of throws. In the begining it was me and one other player. I get the dice and throw, so I may have had a throw avery 8-10 seconds for a while when there was one or no payouts. At the end the table was completely full with one guy having his buddy place bets for him. When I sevened out, half the table left including me. Maxodds Posted August 3, 2014 #8 Share Posted August 3, 2014 Finally! A beast of a roll has been set. Hopefully next week I can either match or beat it when I'm on the Gem. Snake Eyes sends a hello from the crapsforum. He told me to look you up on here (I hope you don't mind). Since you have recently traveled and played on the Gem, I was wondering if you can give me some insight on the craps table. Firebet, odds, dealers behavior, table min 5/10, etc. I already saw your post about neutral bounce which I am thrilled for bc we are all DI. Thanks Dice. -Max
evergladesgator Posted August 4, 2014 #9 Share Posted August 4, 2014 Fantastic roll. Have a question. Do they have Fire Bet on NCL ships ? thanks
skeeter195 Posted August 4, 2014 Author #10 Share Posted August 4, 2014 No fire bets on the Breakawy in Nov or Gem in Feb. Odds 3-4-5. Breakaway 10 min, Gem 5 min. Dealers very friendly and only had to correct them once on the BK with payouts.
Grandpaul Posted August 4, 2014 #11 Share Posted August 4, 2014 Right no fire bets. And their casinos are the best afloat I think.

Me to if DH would move there I'd be gone already. It's actually not out of the question in the future. DH owns a shipping business which focuses on trade shows that's why we go twice a year. Las Vegas = land of trade shows lol
