What line includes port of La Rochelle, France?

We believe my husband's ancestors sailed from this port or vicinity hundreds of years ago. Which cruise lines include La Rochelle as part of itineraries? Anyone ever been there? Thanks!

We stopped there on Celebrity Infinity in October 2013 on trans-Atlantic from Harwich, UK to Miami. A beautiful old city. I think a number of cruises from England stop there - probably Celebrity, HAL and P&O most likely.

If you put P&O itinerary La Rochelle into your search engine, you should come up with six cruises there this spring/summer, on four different ships. They are mainly 7 night cruises from the UK, touching northern Spain and France.

One of the ships mentioned, Oriana, is adult only, in case you're bringing children- the other 3 are family friendly.

Next year the brand new ship, Britannia, is sailing this route- she's identical to Royal Princess.

You said "hundreds of years" so this may not apply. But anyway, if they came to America through Ellis Island anytime from 1892-1924 you can search the for the records. I found the ship and ship's manifest when my mother and grandmother came to America from France.

Thanks, SPacificbound. Ancestors left France and settled in Nova Scotia in mid 1650's. So both places on our bucket lists.

Essiesmom's timetable is perfect; I just want to add that P&O Adonia is also adult only, and Saga cruise is for over 50yrs only, although the partner can be in their 40s.
