OBC is simply a credit on your account. All charges go on your seapass account. This credit would help offset any such charges, including getting money from the casino. Be aware, however, that the casino will charge you 5% for getting money. So if you ask for $100, your seapass will be charged $105.

Personally the drink package is a much better deal. We drank way more than $100 worth of water and specialty coffees. Not sure if you drink soda too. We also drink wine and martinis so we more than got our money's worth. We each had two $5 waters a day…so $20 worth of water daily…that was $140 for water for the week. Plus speciality coffee daily…another $70 buck for the week. We had maybe 2 sodas the whole week. But no need to elaborate…but we got our money's worth on the martinis and wine!

I booked our cruise with the 123 sale and am getting a 100.00 on board credit. is this good for the casino?

I assume you do not drink alcohol or specialty coffees. Still, why would you take $100 OBC instead of free gratuities? Even on five day cruise, the free gratuities is a better deal.

I am getting on board credit for my cruise as well. I want to play in the Casino. How do I avoid getting the 5% surcharge as I would like to use my on board credit for dining and excursions and pay for my casino money out of my own pocket?

so, use cash in the casino. if, for instance you sit down at a blackjack table, give the dealer a $100 bill and get chips. nothing happens to your account.
