balf Posted April 9, 2014 #26 Share Posted April 9, 2014 I always decide if I cannot lift it ,then why should I expect anyone else to. You're an English lady, not a Southampton porter. David.

True, but I used to go to the Mulberry Tree pub in Southampton and there were a few Southampton porters drinking there and they were dressed as English ladies  Well perhaps not ladies:)

brigittetom Posted April 13, 2014 #31 Share Posted April 13, 2014 (edited) If you want to take toiletries , buy them airside. You must be extremely low maintenance if that works for you. I don't spend weeks planning the perfect wardrobe for the perfect voyage......then hope for the best when it comes to grooming needs. What really amazes me is "IF" you want to take toiletries. Who gets on a ship without toiletries? And how does buying anything airside help the porters at the dock?
