For the next three weekends (Sat/Sun) South West Trains until 16/3/2014 are offering return tickets to any two South West Trains stations for £10.......for example Waterloo to Southampton/Portsmouth/Bournemouth....anywhere on the network....A great deal.....(Winter Sale)

I'm glad to see it's return. I will never forget the Egyptian port where the taxi drivers charged $1 to take you into the town - but $30 to take you back to the ship.

The only problem with that is (part) of the journey can be by bus due to engineering works.
