martinchem Posted March 13, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 13, 2014 From my memory it seems almost impossible to get around the cruise port unless you are in a vehicle. Where as NYC and New Orleans are very pedestrian friendly.

JoeRum Posted March 14, 2014 #4 Share Posted March 14, 2014 We rent a car from Budget, drive to Port Canaveral from Orlando stay in a hotel overnight and return the car the morning we board the ship. Budget has a free shuttle to and from the cruise port a few minutes away. We rent a car for the trip back to Orlando to fly home. Done this many times and it works great.
