princess houston hotels and transportation?

I am sailing out of Houston and am in need of information about hotels I am flying into George bush airport the day before and would need transportation to the hotel and then to the port

"Bush" airport = IAH = the "far one" from the port.

See if you can get into a Princess transfer, a pretty good deal compared to other options given the distance.

I am writing this from the Four Seasons, a very nice and nicely located hotel that Princess uses. Dropping off a case of water for CC friends who just checked in.

 

If airport were Hobby (HOU) a cab to a hotel in La Porte would be my recommendation. There you are 12 miles from port and most of the hotels will shuttle you. We stayed at Candlewood Suites.

We flew into IAH last November and will be again this November. We stayed at the Marriott right at the airport. Thought it was nice, but not much around so we just ate at the hotel. Then we used Princess transfers and walked upstairs to get on the bus. The Marriott is attached to IAH. Very convenient. Have fun, we are flying to Fort Lauderdale tomorrow to join the Royal on Sunday...

Please can you help with a few questions about the Marriott at IAH ?

 

Does the hotel have a shuttle bus that will drop passengers to and collect from a nearby Walmart/ Target or similar ?

 

Is there anywhere nearby- within walking distance where we can purchase wine to take aboard the ship ??
