I just realized we'll be on the Maasdam Easter Sunday. Do they do anything special for Easter on Holland America?

They'll celebrate Easter for sure . There will be appropriate religious services on board and other types of celebrations as well.

On the Noordam last year, they decorated all over the Lido. When we got back to the cabin, the pillow chocolates were easter eggs instead of the regular ones. There were religious services on the Friday and Sunday. Can't remember the menu selections, but I'm sure they had hot cross buns at some point.

We've been on a cruise over Easter a few years ago. If you are Catholic, they have Mass and we felt it was very nice and are looking forward to it again. They also service ham during the day and have a few decorations around the ship. But then again, it was a few years back. Happy sailing and Happy Easter.

We have sailed over Easter on several different ships. The Lido is the most decorated place.

Sometimes we have gotten small chocolate eggs in the cabin at night -- sometimes just the regular chocolate. Sometimes we have gotten the small chocolate eggs at dinner -- sometimes not.

The menus usually have ham on them for dinner.

That is pretty much our experience though I do remember from years past they had an Easter Bunny giving chocolate eggs to the children. It was wonderful fun but years since we've seen that. There might be an Easter Egg hunt in Club HAL?
