retiring soon Posted March 20, 2014 #2 Share Posted March 20, 2014 HI all! Belle ~ cute ditty as usual but the date is off in the title. You're rushing us into Spring which didn't happen here btw. Still some white stuff on the cars! Anyhow I'm pleased to say I'm down a pound this week. Using MFP helps. Hope to hear from the rest of you. ~ Jo ~ :)

winewanderer Posted March 21, 2014 #4 Share Posted March 21, 2014 Hi, Belle, great poem. I stayed the same. If I would lose 3 lbs I could be back to a 10 lb. loss I had this same time last year. Will work on it. Have a good week. Diana

Belle Posted March 25, 2014 Author #6 Share Posted March 25, 2014 Just the FOUR of us! Really "nice" four of us! We keep plugging along! Never give up! WHERE IS EVERYONE! WHY NO TALKING? You come in with either a loss, gain, stay the same or even if your staying off the scale. WE NEED YOU....WE MISS YOU! I need to hear voices (or read them) Husband with his problems hardly talks.. I'm lonely. (feeling sorry for me yet?) Will give you more info on my life then you'll really feel sorry for me and feel great about yourself! lol Really having trouble not eating comfort food when stressed. CHOCOLATE!!!!! It calls my NAME!!!!! OK pity party over for myself. Will drink some water now/ Everyone have a good rest of the week.
Jan_In_Maine Posted March 25, 2014 #7 Share Posted March 25, 2014 Belle - I understand completely about comfort food --- I've been struggling myself ... seems that all I've done is eat and I'm not even hungry - just can't seem to stop. My daughter moved out on Friday ... So decided it was time to do something about it ... been going to the gym, Thursday I'm getting a haircut. Husband still spending a lot of time trying to make everything perfect for his mom ... It does take its toll. Jan
J-NEEL Posted March 30, 2014 #8 Share Posted March 30, 2014 Hi ladies... I'd like to join in! :D I just booked a cruise for this July... Yay 4 Summer time! =] I too want to lose for my cruise! I'm starting today by getting back on wii fit & calorie counting using an app on my phone (great bar scan feature to list foods). My cruise countdown is 109 days... Think 10 pounds is a realistic goal?!? Janille :)
Jan_In_Maine Posted March 30, 2014 #9 Share Posted March 30, 2014 Hi Janille - Welcome - Your goal for your cruise sounds realistic - I find that counting calories really helps, as I know when I really need to stop eating for the day  Belle normally will post a new thread on Thursdays - We all love having new people join in the fun to a healthier life. retiring soon Posted March 30, 2014 #10 Share Posted March 30, 2014 Hi all! Janille ~ welcome to the thread!:DSounds like a good goal to me. Are you using My Fitness Pal? That's what I use & so does shootr who checks in here sometimes. There's also a Wii Fit thread here that I resurrected from last Sept. if you want to pop in there. Have a great week folks. Hope we're all down in weight on Thursday. ~ Jo ~ :)
J-NEEL Posted March 30, 2014 #11 Share Posted March 30, 2014 :D And thanks for the encouragement on my 10 pound goal! I'd really love to lose more... But hopefully being realistic will help save me from frustration!?! Lol On another note... I did more reading on here about cabins & considering changing my JS from port mid ship to AFT for the larger balcony. Any thoughts on that? Mostly positive from what I see... Possible concerns are long walk to/from elevators (which is ok to walk off all that food!) I wouldn't like vibration noise or smell from engines?? Thanks!! Janille :)
Jan_In_Maine Posted March 30, 2014 #12 Share Posted March 30, 2014 I really like being midship - seems to be less rocky ... I've seen an aft and they look nice -- my DH said no to an aft though as he doesn't like looking what he considers to be backwards (but he can't even tie his shoe in a car:rolleyes:). I'd love to have a bigger balcony - I really enjoy sitting out first thing in the morning with coffee and the quiet ... love looking at the stars at night How I wish I was on a cruise!!! :) Jan
