Rare Tapi Posted March 27, 2014 #15 Share Posted March 27, 2014 More info, please. Thanks This was a few years ago. September tends to be one of the cheapest months to cruise because its the peak of hurricane season and because kids are back in school. We received a phone call from our PVP at 10:00am asking if we'd be interested in sailing that same afternoon for $99pp, best cabin available. 4 hours later, we were checking into our porthole stateroom on the Empress deck! :D I have seen these rock bottom prices since, not only on Carnival, but also on NCL and Royal for the weekend cruises. But usually they'll be last minute deals, much closer to departure and during low season months. You'll never see anything like that in advance or during high season months (summer, spring break or holidays). You must be ready to pull the trigger at the last minute.
