Miami Taxi Question

I know that the flat rate for a taxi from MIA to POM is $24.

Does anyone know, or have person experience, whether taxi vans are available?

If so, do you think we can get 6 people plus luggage in, or would we need two cabs?

Taxi vans or SUVs will be available. Worst case, you take two cabs.

Yes, vans are avaliable but it depends on how much luggage you have.

Most taxi vans seat 7 counting the driver, leaving very little room for luggage (especially if any in your group pack like my wife :o) -- I would plan on taking two cabs.

We did 6 in a minivan with luggage (4 women :eek:)without a problem.

We retuned to POM in January and found that mini van taxis were few and far between.

You might need two taxi vans if you have a lot of luggage.

 

Either way you will be fine.
