Breakaway-Deck 14 or 11 Balcony?

Depends on what you're looking for, to be honest. We had a balcony on 13 and loved it. Not far from pool deck (and the buffet :) ) I think you can't go wrong with either one, just depends on what you'd rather be closer to. I'm not a gambler, so being close to the casino was not something I cared about. It really wasn't that bad going to 678 Ocean place, either and we usually took the stairs.

I was in a deck 14 midship balcony last week and we loved our location. Being only one deck down from the pool or the garden cafe kept us from waiting for the elevator too frequently as we could just hop up the stairs.

That was my plan, precisely.

Deck 11 if you want some sun.

Deck 14 is in a lot of shade from an overhang on deck 15.

Deck 14 does have a significant overhang, in our case that was handy as it provided some cover for two rainy days.

I actually prefer more shade, but have read that deck 14 can get a lot of noise from the pool deck above, sometimes into the late hours if there are activities up there. So... an angled balcony cabin on deck 11 became available, but it is forward facing, so while a bit bigger than the other balconies, can have a wind issue on sea days. Decisions, decisions.....
