Nearest vaporretto stop near venice port

We're is the nearest vaporretto stop nearest the cruise port in venice. And to get to it from port do we catch the monorail or can we walk to it.

Last year our vaporretto sailed passed the ships and I think we caught one up the side of the super market or not far from.

get the monorail - People Mover - 1 stop - 1 Euro to Piazzale Roma. Simples! Get an all day vaporetto ticket 18 Euro.;

Asda I agree with Jean get the people mover from Marritima, which is walking distance from the port; but you might want to go the other way to Tronchetto to catch the vaporetto. This stop is much less crowded than Piazzala Roma and for the grand canal route you will be boarding before the hordes get on at Piazzala Roma.
