beasfriend Posted April 1, 2014 #1 Share Posted April 1, 2014 What are some "must buy" souvenirs from this port?
Hatteras51 Posted April 2, 2014 #2 Share Posted April 2, 2014 As you can see by the lack of responses, probably most of us don't think that there are many great souvenirs to be found in Aruba. There are a few past posts about this on this forum. If you do a search, you might be able to find them. You can pick up trinkets from the vendors by the docks. Other than that, it is mostly jewelry and T shirts. If you collect delft china pieces, there is a lot of that around the port because Aruba is Dutch ruled. Rare TLCOhio Posted September 30, 2015 #6 Share Posted September 30, 2015 Aloe. Yes, agree that aloe might be a good option to consider. It's made there from the plants grown on this sunny island. See a couple examples below. More visuals and on the longer posting that I did titled: "Aruba: Pix's, Fun, Experiences Feb./2015!". THANKS! Enjoy! Terry in Ohio From our Jan. 25-Feb. 20, 2015, Amazon River-Caribbean combo sailing over 26 days that started in Barbados, here is the link below to that live/blog. Lots of great visuals from this amazing Brazil river and these various Caribbean Islands (Dutch ABC's, St. Barts, Dominica, Grenada, etc.) that we experienced. 6rugrats Posted September 30, 2015 #7 Share Posted September 30, 2015 Why did you bump up this old thread? I would have to say there is nothing you must buy in Aruba to take home with you. It's pretty much junk.
