Flatbush Flyer Posted April 3, 2014 #4 Share Posted April 3, 2014 Mt Etna is better appreciated from afar. We've been up there (while ski season was still happening (April). It's a stark landscape. How about a short trip to hilltop Savoca (setting for Godfather movie) - great view of the Med and rich with its own history. Not too far from Taormina.
