Gluten free foods - Carnival Spirit

Hi everyone,

 

My mum is coaeliac and will be on carnival spirit next month.

 

Could anyone fill me in on gluten free food availability on the spirit and in particular whether they have gluten free cereal?

They do have gluten free pizza but if it's made in the same kitchen as the normal pizza it's sure to be contaminated to some degree.

I didn't see any gluten free cereal but you could give Carnival a call to ask what options they may have.

I don't eat wheat or most grains at all but I am not coaeliac though.

Lots of gluten free options and if you notify the dining room staff the day before your meal (so we would order Tuesday nights meal whilst at dinner on Monday night etc) they ensure all is gluten free and not contaminated.

 

They did have rice bubbles, corn flakes in the breakfast selection and also had gluten free muffins every morning for breakfast too.

 

They were very good and even at the buffet the chefs would be able to confirm what sauces even contained gluten, so they're all switched on
