cruisemama5 Posted April 16, 2014 #1 Share Posted April 16, 2014 Just wondering if there are any passengers currently on the Crown with news of how the ship is doing in regards to the Noro outbreak. I know they would be on the strict protocol in the food areas for the first few days, but wondering if there is any word on how it is going now. We are going on the Crown on April 26th. Not too worried as we try and do what we can to prevent it, lots of hand washing, etc. Wondering about getting the wipes mentioned on other threads for the room. shetravels Posted April 16, 2014 #2 Share Posted April 16, 2014 I found both the recommended spray and wipes in the travel section at Target. make sure it says for flu virus and bacteria.

Astro Flyer Posted April 16, 2014 #5 Share Posted April 16, 2014 Relax and enjoy your cruise. and wash your hands, wash your hands, wash your hands. ;) I do this & never had Norovirus even on a cruise the press promotes as a "Norovirus" cruise. ;) No news is good news. :) Amen! :)
fabby50 Posted April 16, 2014 #6 Share Posted April 16, 2014 My understanding from being on the cruise last week is that they only report through the CDC if 1% or more of the passengers report illness. This would be about 100 people. I agree, no news is good news.

Sorry for the typo -I think that if there were a new outbreak, someone would post on CC bemoaning the fact that the ship is still "sick."

OCruisers Posted April 17, 2014 #10 Share Posted April 17, 2014 Tend to think since no one has posted anything recently there is not a major problem on this sailing. LuLu ~~~
