Please help-San Juan questions

Recommended Posts

Friends of mine will be sailing out of San Juan tomorrow aboard the Adventure. If someone could please answer these questions it would be greatly appreciated.

1. They do not sail out of San Juan until 10 pm. Can they check in, drop things off in their cabin and then go off the ship and explore San Juan?

2. Since they do not sail until 10 pm, what time is the muster drill usually?

3. What would you suggest they do to get from airport-pier and vice versa? Cab?

I know the answer to question 1 is YES - they can board and then get off

I don't know the answer to 2 (someone said it was 8:00 ish and second dinner seating was delayed until 9:00)

Yes, cabs to and from airport are plentiful to the Pan American pier

2 probably the next day

3 cab, much quicker and no more expensive

For #2, jc is right. I think the first day is a sea day and they have the muster then.

Trip from the airport to the dock is pretty quick, and a cab works fine.

We, also, take off on our own when we sail from San Juan. Barcelona is another evening sailaway, and it's a great sightseeing day, too.
