Category E-3//Brilliance of the Seas

Has anyone stayed in Category E-3 on the Brilliance of the Seas, Deck 7. When reading about the Category it says 25% blocked. What does that mean? :confused: Thanks for any help anyone who's stayed in those 25% blocked rooms can give. Elaine :)

They are saying that 1/4 of your view is obstructed.

The E3 cabins on Deck 7 have their view straight down to the water blocked by the lifeboat covers, which extend out from those balconies. You can still see plenty of ocean, but you can't look straight down at it.

Here is a picture from our balcony on deck 8 [of Radiance -- sister to Brilliance] that should give you a better idea of what the others are talking about.

 

 

The worker is walking on the lifeboat cover that is about the same level as the floor of the balconies on 7.
