Carnival out of Fort Lauderdale

I was just on the carnival site trying to narrow down my search for a cruise in April 2015. We were thinking of sailing out of Fort Lauderdale.

 

I however noticed that thee are no cruises showing for April out of this port.:( Is Carnival no longer sailing out of FLL or is it just that they maybe updating the system.

 

I noticed the Freedom is now sailing out of Galveston for that same period.

The Carnival Conquest will be sailing out of Ft. Lauderdale. The itineraries will be posted on April 29th, 2014. Hope this helps.

We do also and were hoping to do a B2B on Freedom but that was before they announced they were moving her to Galveston. Now not sure, maybe Conquest? Maybe Dream out of NO? We like 8 day cruises and were looking forward 16 days cruisin especially after our Hawaii last year, not sure we can go back to just an 8 day.

I've left out of port of Lauderdale several times on the Freedom , the port is about 15 minutes from FLL airport. The conquest is a great ship. If you have self assist debarkation and the ship docks on time you can be at the airport by 8:00 am plenty of time to catch a 10:00 flight.

That is why we love sailing out of FLL....the port is just ideally located closed to hotels and the airport.

We did the 8 day out of FLL last Dec on the Freedom. Very nice cruise. Doing an 8 day on the Liberty next Jan out of Port Canaveral. You may want to look into this port unless you are really close to FLL. Though, it is only a 2 hour drive between the ports.

No. I love St Maarten too. It's Grand Turk, Dominican Republic, Curaçao,and Aruba. I'm sticking with this and hoping Conquest won't disappoint. I really like 8 days and Aruba.

Ok. This is a pretty sweet iteniary too and I have never been to DR. I am actually looking at booking the week after you. I will wait until they release the iteniaries before I make a final decision. Hopefully there will be one with that includes St. Maarten

If you are willing to go on the Liberty out of PC, it does go to St. Maarten. I will actually visit this island twice in a 10 week period between the Liberty and then the Pride reposition.

I would definitely consider it if the Conquest does not sail there when she comes to Port Everglades....while I really love St. Maarten not having it is not necessarily a deal breaker....it will ultimately come to the best pricing.:)

Yes - that's why we booked it when it was still going to be sailing out of Miami. Now that it moved, we were moved over to the Splendor.

From what I can see on the Carnival website it has a lot of the 2.0 upgrades - Blue Iguana, Red Frog, Guy's, The Alchemy bar to list a few.

We were booked on Freedom for B2B (1/18/15 & 1/24/15) which now have been switched to Conquest. I agree that we can't do just a 7 or 8 day. This will be our 4th B2B and 3rd in a row. Our 1/24/15 is a great itinerary.

Our 1/24/15 cruise on Conquest (transferred from Freedom) has us arriving in Curacao at 1:00 PM (thru 11:00 PM) and Aruba at 8 AM (through 4 PM).

 

When we were in Aruba in January 2010 we must not have arrived till later because we were there till 10 PM. We skipped dessert that night to go to a nearby casino. We each had $40 with us. My SO came back to the ship with nada. I came back with $210. Lucky night.
