Canyon Ranch Spa

Cruise a holic

Hello,

Since Celebrity has changed it's Spa vendor, any feedback on how Canyon Ranch is doing? I was told that the price may be increased- is it? Is the service good?

I enjoy going to the hair salon at least once during the cruise. Are the hair dressers good? Do the technicians push their products and services? I found that very annoying on behalf of Elemis. Do they sell "products to make you young and healthy"? LOL

I know that this vendor is perhaps not on all ships yet, but I was wondering what is in store for my next Summit sailing in August.

Thanks in advance for the feedback.

I was on the connie a couple of wks ago. I think it was their first wk.

I had a massage and it was wonderful. there was no pushing the products

which was really nice. I thought they were a bit pricy and they had no

specials since it was the first wk. would I go again- oh yes.

I tried having a look at the price list, but maybe someone can clarify.

I'm a bit self-conscious and have never been to a spa before, but I'd really like to try a massage. I'd especially like a back massage, but don't know anything about what to ask for etc, like if they asked what I wanted them to focus on I'd have no idea.

Any advice for someone like me? Do they do tours of the facilities at the start of the cruise so you can go along and learn what the spa is like before spending any money?

Post got lost ? .....so I'll try again

it will be more expensive than land based...like at most resort spas...

treatment rooms are private you do not have to remove all...but you will be well covered anyhow

You will fill out a basic health history, your therapist will discuss any concerns, find out what you want them to focus on and level of pressure

No oblgation to buy products

spa menu explains the offerings and they do have tours on first day... spa .used to offer specials and combos ..not sure what Canyon ranch will offer but they had a fabulous spa in QM 2

I usually start with a swedish massage at beginning of cruise and get a cleansing/moisturizing faciall near the end...maybe also reflexology
