We came home from a Princess Caribbean cruise to FLL and they offered "Easy Check". You get luggage tags and boarding passes on the ship, put your luggage out in the hall the last night and you don't see or touch it until it's on the carousel at your home airport, and when you go to the airport in FLL, you go directly to the gate with boarding pass in hand. Obviously, only for folks flying home directly after the cruise. Does Celebrity offer this?

Thanks.....maybe I did't do it correctly. I went to "Search this thread" put in key words "luggage valet" and it said "no matches" By the way, I never knew about this option until the above poster mentioned it! And thanks Cruisestich. I checked out those threads you suggested and got all my answers. I knew I could rely on CC posters to help me!

I think the problem is that you were only searching WITHIN this thread, but to find info you need to search all posts and threads and to do that you need to exit the thread and go back to the general Celebrity board to start your search

$20 per person & any applicable airline charges. I believe the flight times are 1130 am to 1100pm. It s dependent on the airline. We've been successful on United & American; however, Southwest hasn't participated on any of our sailings

Kept after customer relations to get valet luggage, the airline was Southwest it took until the last day around 6:00pm before we got it. We were on Eclipse returning to Ft Lauderdale traveling by air after l:00pm.

Both Celebrity and Southwest said it was not their fault. Air Tran had valet luggage service which is owned by Southwest. We have contacted both companies, we were unable to get the problem solved. I believe, if you usual travel Southwest and want to use valet luggage when returning from a cruise, you should contact both Celebrity and Southwest and express your concerns.

We were on a Celebrity cruise disembarking in Ft.Lauderdale over a year ago and the ship did not offer Luggage Valet. The only response we ever got was "they were waiting for it"...this was in the middle of March...prime cruising time!
