Ncl Spirit 12 day laundry question

We are traveling a week in Europe ahead of the cruise. Can laundry be sent out every day or is it only on certain days? I keep reading about the twice a cruise laundry bag special, but I need laundry done on the very first day! Anyone recently on the ship?

NCL gives you a big paper bag to fill with laundry, all you can put in there, for about $30. You can send out laundry any day, it has been returned to us the next day.

Unless it is the laundry special day where it is everything for $27.50 you will pay per piece. There is a form to fill in where you insert how many of each type of item eg shorts,jeans,t-shirt etc. The prices are clearly shown on this form. It is usually in the closet with the bag.

 

They will do laundry any day with this system. Laundry specials are the days when the laundry itself is a little quieter and has unused capacity so they offer it to the passengers.

You can send out laundry any day including the first day. However, the laundry special is only on certain days for the discount unless you are Platinum. It is not cheap unless you use the special, probably comparable to what a hotel would charge.
