There is a B.C.liquor store, with good wines, though not as cheap as the U.S. about a block from your hotel. Asked at your

hotel for directions. Yes, the problem at Vancover, is U.S. immigrations. With your wheels chairs it will be much easier as they have a special que for you and your party. Also you will take the lift down to the boarding area from your hotel. Very easy.

Thanks Cruise Junky, saw your response in the Celebrity board.

Thanks bcnvcanada for the info. Sounds like we picked a good place to stay, eh?

Very much looking forward to your lovely city. We plan to take the HOHO Trolley around after we check into our hotel. Need to see the sights!

Crown Princess to Alaska sailing was delayed on 7 June for two hours due to delays caused by US immigration. We joined the queue for security at 12 noon and finally got on to the ship at 4.40pm. Hold up seemed to be for non US/Canadian passengers who take longer to process. We had expected to eat a late lunch on the ship so were starving by 5pm. Worth making sure you have something to snack on if sailing out of Vancouver.

exactly!

when our boarding was delayed, it was US customs (or is it immigration?) whatever. it took forever. be happy you are at least on board! I was in a snaky line for almost 3 hours. you are unpacking already? yay! luggage arrived. :) enjoy your cruise.

Had the same problem in 2012 trying to board the Sapphire Princess. That "snakey-line" was terrible and so crowded it was an incredible relief to finally get to the stateroom:(
