Is there a limit on how much water you can bring?

I understand there's a limit on alcohol and on sodas, but is there a limit on bottled water? No, I don't plan on bringing enough to float the ship, but I was wondering could I bring one bottle of wine plus one 12 pack of soda plus one 12 pack of water, or does the water take the place of the soda?

I'm pretty sure it's 12 drinks up to 20oz per person. So you could bring 6 sodas and 6 waters but not a 12 pack of each.

That is correct... Also, I find the water on the ship to be just as good as, if not better, than any bottled water I brought, so after our first cruise, we don't bring any water with us...

Same here, water is fine to drink. Take wine, sodas and juice instead.

We will bring on a water bottle or two. Usually we will refill it. At times we will get some more in port.

We use to take water on with us, but we don't really like to pack it around. The bottled water isn't really that expensive, $4.25 for a 1.5 liter bottle, $1.50 for a .5 liter

As others have said the tap water on the ship is filtered and better then most bottled waters you buy. No reason to carry on water when its free on the ship.

I take a 6-pack of Ginger Ale on board with me

but I always use the ship's water right out of the tap in the cabin's bathroom

and never had any problems.

 

 

Save yourself the expense, the weight and hassle! ;)

If you have kids they let you get by with more, I have taken extra water and Gatorade above my soda without issue. I won't do water again though. Took more than I needed so gave leftovers to room stewards at the end of the cruise.

But I like having the water cold (from being in ice cooler) and I like having a cap on my water to both prevent spilling and/or tampering

My last weekend jaunt I brought a 12-pack of Diet 7-Up and about 7 individual bottles of water. They all made it through. :)

We just take a couple of bottles of water with us, then refill with the ship's water. It is actually very good. That was I can take more soft drinks.
