Tell me about Explorer of the Seas

New to Royal not to cruising. Considering Explorer out of Cape Liberty. Is there a solarium, British pub etc on that ship? What are pros and cons? Thanks

Wish I could help. I'm new to Royal and new to cruising. Waiting to see some responses.

Explorer was my first. What a great ship. I thing the pub is on the freedom class of ships But there is a solarium. A beautiful ship. There is actually a men's room on deck 10 or thereabouts that had a glass wall looking out on the sea.

We love the Explorer and have been on her several times. There is a pub right across from the Café Promenade with live music at night as well as an adults only solarium.

There is the Crown & Kettle Pub on deck 5, part of the Promenade. No food, but seems like the drink or at least the beer menu, was quite extensive.

The Explorer is a beautiful ship with a great and friendly staff! Have sailed on her about 7 times. Absolutely love her! Will be on her for the last time next month. Sad that they are relocating her. :(

Sure it takes a bit of work to go through them but you will find everything you need to know.

Love Deck 4, you can walk around the entire ship outside and up the stairs to the Heli-pad where they have benches you can sit on.

 

Fantastic crew and sad to see her go also, but it is time for another ship to come to Bayonne, she was there long enough.
