Mariner bed placement

Dear all,

 

1. On board Mariner of the Seas, do they alternate the bed placement in the cabin? In one cabin the bed is near the bathroom, and the next cabin the bed is near the balcony?

If so, how could we know from the deck plan?

 

2. How about connecting rooms? Where is the connecting door located?

 

3. Which is preferable : bed near the bath, or near the balcony?

In D/E type balcony staterooms, the beds are all near the balcony. The connecting door would be in the middle of the room. In a D, the door turns the 3 person sofa into a 2 person loveseat. In the E, the door turns a 2 person loveseat into a chair.

The "alternating" cabin set ups only occur on Oasis and Allure... so far.
