WHATS THE BEST SITE TO BOOK A CRUISE?

I agree with girlcruiser. We have booked three cruises with bestpricecruises and have had excellent service - plus I haven't found lower rates anywhere else. I think what differentiates them too is you book with one agent and deal with that agent all the way through. Rather than the luck of the draw when you call in to the "call center" with a question.

Have to agree with Puba, I'd vote none of the above and write in CruiseQuick. Our Galaxy cruise is booked through them and still haven't found a lower quote....and I've tried! Don't let the lack of "bells and whistles" on their website keep you from trying them...great price and service.

Until Galaxy

I have used Bestpricecruises.com for many cruises and am impressed with their prices and services.

None of the above gets my vote, as well.

makingmemoriestravel.com had the lowest price and great service

I'm still waiting for a reply from icruise to a question.

cruise.com was a pretty good price.

cruisequick didn't offer telephone contact, and alo didn't reply to a question.

I would also vote for bestpricecruises.com - I know many who have used them and have great things to say.

Cruisequick.com gets my vote. They booked my current cruise. I checked many places and they had the lowest quote, much lower than most. I prefer to book online via e-mails -- so much easier to reach than playing phone tag. They've always answered within a few minutes and been very helpful.

Direct Line Cruises is the best one that I know of. They book Celebrity and I believe Royal Caribbean exclusively. They are very highly recommended by Celebrity themselves, their prices are excellent and they follow up on every inquiry and question. We have booked our second cruise with them.

I used expedia.com and they were wonderful. We actually called them to ask for more details, and in the process, they got us upgraded to Concierge class for less money than a regular OV cabin with balcony. We arranged our flights and hotel all through expedia.
It was wonderful, painless and I would use them in a heartbeat.

I've consistently booked with the same T/A at CruisesOnly (associated with Hotwire.com, but not operated the same as their airline/hotel business) and found rates to generally be among the lowest there.

The latest cruise I booked for HAL's Zuiderdam in 12/04 I did manage to find for $50 per person less on another website after booking, but that was a first. And, I don't cheat on my T/A...she's been very good to us in terms of customer service and follow up.

We've used SkyAuction.com a couple of times and found them easy to work with however, cruisequick.com is best for us. Cruisequick's customer service is excellent if one can live with e-mail only.

I sent a question about a possible booking to cruisequick.com and got no reply. Have had good results with cruise411.com.... very responsive to my e-mails and phone calls & best prices I could find. Just tried a search at bestpricecruises.com for our May 1, 2005 Infinity cruise and got "0 results found" but will check them out again based on all the positive replies here.
