megold Posted May 30, 2014 #1 Share Posted May 30, 2014 Just booked a cruise to the Western Caribbean for May of next year. Will be traveling on the Voyager of the Seas. Looking at RCI's website of the excursions they have available and our date is listed for a lot of the excursions that I would like to do. However when I go into my reservation and try to book the excursions there are only like 8 listed, and one port isnt even listed. Am I trying to book these too early? or are they all ready booked? As it gets closer to departure time will more show up?
CruiserBruce Posted May 30, 2014 #2 Share Posted May 30, 2014 It sounds like you are a little early. However, check on the RCI board , here: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=83 for when excursions should be fully available. leaveitallbehind Posted May 30, 2014 #4 Share Posted May 30, 2014 (edited) Yes - too early. Keep checking the website periodically, however, as some may open up earlier than others. For example if your itinerary includes a port of call at Labadee, the Cabanas tend to open early for booking and book fast. Also keep in mind that when you book an excursion it is charged to your credit card then, so you are paying in full at the time of booking. You can cancel if need be, however, and anything cancelled prior to three days of the sailing date will be credited back directly to your credit card. Any cancellations after that and up to 24 hours in advance of the excursion on board will be issued to your SeaPass card as and OBC or can be applied to another excursion.
